Your adventure begins in Casablanca with a visit to the grand Hassan II Mosque, the second largest religious building in the world after Mecca. From there, continue on to Rabat, the country’s refined capital, to discover its most iconic monuments and architectural gems. En route to Fez, you will stop in Meknès, the most understated of the imperial cities, yet home to a rich cultural heritage and a charm all its own.

Then comes Fez, the spiritual and intellectual heart of Morocco and the oldest of the four imperial cities. Prepare to be captivated by its intricate medina, a true labyrinth of history, craftsmanship and life. This fascinating city promises a rewarding experience filled with discovery and wonder.

Heading south, you will travel through the Azrou National Park, where the cedar forests are home to the charming Barbary macaques. The landscape opens up into the lush Ziz Valley, lined with thousands of date palms and the breathtaking Tafilalet Oasis, the second largest in Africa after the Nile.

Passing through Erfoud, the gateway to the desert, you will arrive in Merzouga, where the towering dunes rise like waves of gold. Here, unforgettable sunsets paint the horizon and transport you into the stillness and serenity of the Sahara, a truly captivating scene.

Bidding farewell to the desert, the journey continues towards the dramatic Todra Gorges, one of the most spectacular canyons in North Africa. Follow the road through the stunning Dades Valley toward Ouarzazate, along a route dotted with fortified adobe villages and kasbahs, earning its poetic name: The Road of a Thousand Kasbahs.

Crossing the Valley of Roses and the verdant Skoura Palm Grove, you’ll reach Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a crown jewel of Berber architecture.

The road to Marrakech offers dramatic views over the Atlas Mountains. Once in the famed Red City, you will have a full day to uncover its timeless allure and lose yourself in the enchantment of the legendary Jemaa el-Fnaa square.

The journey concludes in Casablanca, bringing to a close a beautifully designed itinerary that weaves together Morocco’s cultural treasures and the ethereal magic of the Sahara Desert.
